I get it, I get it. Most artists are "starving". Okay then. The buy-in has been dropped, so now all artists are participating for free. Creative Oddities Studios is puting up a $100 cash prize to the over-all winner. Get registered and get drawing!


About a year ago, the FEAR THE BEAST web-site hosted a little art contest for its account holders. The artists in the crowd were invited to participate in an artistic marathon; producing new pieces based on the different theme each week for a little over a month. The other patrons were asked to vote on their favorites each week...the winner got bragging rights and a lot on on-line exposure. It was good fun and forced a few of us lazy artists to do something new.

TC and I want to do it again, but this time we want to raise the stakes. For four weeks in October, artists who have signed up for the contest will be creating a new piece each week, all with Halloween themes. Each week we will open a forum for voting from the public. Points will be awarded each week with an overall winner being determined at the end of the contest.

Here's where it gets fun. The winner wins $100 out of Jason's pocket. In addition, we will be revving up the Creative Oddities Studios advertsing machine to push everyone's work, and we are apparently being seen by perverts in multiple countries now, so that might be a big deal for alot of starving artists.
